More Volunteers Are Needed!

There is still plenty of opportunity to assist in this project.

Volunteering does not require complex skills. Typical crews consist of two people: One person who cuts, one person who assists the person cutting. This basic combination of skills essentially covers many of the tasks required for building our playground and are important to the completion of the overall project.

Crew members are needed as early as 8:00 am and throughout the day this weekend. (July 18 and 19)

Lunch and dinner are provided onsite.

Childcare is also provided onsite.

Signing up is not required.

Thank you.

P.S. You can also bring your own tools such as drills, saws, etc.

Volunteers Are Still Needed!

Volunteers are still needed to help fill the role of crew members! Construction consultants are on site that guide the volunteer build captains. Build captains are assigned crew members to manage building the various aspects of the playground. It is the crew members that are vital to the success of this project. The good news is that joining a crew on a project like this does not require complex skills. Typical crews consist of two people: One person who cuts, one person who assists the person cutting. This basic combination of skills essentially covers many of the tasks required for building our playground and are important to the completion of the overall project. Crew members are needed as early as 8:00 am and throughout the day, through this Sunday, July 19th. Lunch and dinner are provided onsite. Signing up is not required. Please become part of this volunteer effort and join us in completing this community project. Thank you.

P.S. You can also bring your own tools such as drills, saws, etc.

Exciting Website Stats And Updates

It has been an exciting time for our new website. The website has received over 250 unique visitors. Most of those visitors have been from the United States, however we have had a few international hits. The average person views 2.24 pages on the site. The word is getting out and as a result we have received a few recent donations at our gofundme page.

Please keep visiting the site and keep offering suggestions at kidscreateplay@gmail.com. New information is constantly being added. Most recent updates include pages with information on ordering t-shirts and special build invitations for veterans, community service members, and contractors.

Thank you for your continued interest.

Enriching the lives of children by providing a safe and welcoming community playground where children of all abilities can play, learn, contemplate, build community and be good stewards of our environment and community.
